For and with the Happy Baby community — mums who have sought international protection in the UK and their children (under 5).

This four-week project brings together music, collaborative art-making, and storytelling to support creativity, connection, and cultural expression.

Participants:

• Join early years music sessions led by Juma Music

• Co-create a group artwork featuring multilingual expressions of joy through collage, paint, and mark-making

• Develop stories, mark-making and movement, inspired by rhythm, colour and cultural identity

• Contribute to a large-scale wall hanging for the children’s room, co-created by mums and children

• Engage in a multi-sensory, body-led process designed for expression and connection
