Esther Sabetpour is an interdisciplinary artist and facilitator working intuitively at the intersection of movement, photography and well-being. An Anglo-Iranian photographer and burns survivor, she approaches art-making as a sensory and relational process — dissolving boundaries between observer and observed, light and body, camera and movement.
Her work explores identity, memory, and the body as a living archive, drawing on trauma-informed and somatic practices to uncover stories held beneath the surface. Esther regularly exhibits photography and performance work and is engaged in deep, ongoing collaborations with several London-based artists.
In 2026, she will exhibit with the Persephone Collective at the Barbican Library and co-host Tracing Stories at Sadler’s Wells East. Through her practice, Esther creates visual poetry that invites an intuitive and emotional response — imagery that resonates with the soul and reflects our shared human experience.
